How some of the Mindfulness Teachers have progressed since their Teacher Training
Posted by Bob, September 2015
'Last September I had the pleasure of going on a Mindfulness Teachers Course run by Jilly, I thoroughly enjoyed and learnt so much for myself and how to teacher others Mindfulness
Then it was putting it all into practice. The first one was slightly scary however with the weekly planning programme that was part of the course, each week became slightly easier and my confidence levels improved. Knowing that if I needed any help or support I knew that Jilly was at the end of the phone.
I have run three courses now with the fourth at the end of September. The teachers course is the ground work and each day is acquiring more information and how to improve the course.
Itís a great feeling see students improve week by week. I am now organizing refresher mornings once a quarter to help keep the students on track. I delivered the first one yesterday and the response was so positive, all looking forward to further refresher mornings. I am also giving talks to different ladies organisations and to a hospice.
I am so glad that I took the plunge and did the Mindfulness teachers Course.
Hope you enjoy the course as I did and gain a new talent.'

'I completed the teacher training with Jilly a year go now. Prior to this I had been meditating and practicing mindfulness for about a year. Since the teacher training I have delivered a number of the eight week courses and quite a few individual courses. It has been very rewarding to see individual shift from a state of anxiety, depression, panic attacks and general stress, to people that now really embrace the practice and ideas of mindfulness meditation.
I continue to meditate almost daily and as a result, I am more self-aware and mindful, In short life is good and when it is not I am able to deal with things in a more useful way than before'.
